What is Guest blogging? Why do I need it to Generate Leads for my Real Estate business?
If you’re reading this article, I will take it that you’re a complete newbie when it comes to guest blogging (sorry if you’re not).
Guest blogging is fast becoming one of the most effective ways to market an online business today.
Guest blogging is the process of writing articles for another website with the aim to generate traffic, subscribers, and boost search engine rankings.
I’ve been a professional guest blogger for quite some time now and I’ve seen many new businesses grow their revenue by150% in the space 5 months through guest blogging.
I’ve been working on this blog for 4-5 months now and I’m happy to say that I’ve achieved so much than I expected.I’m saying this to let you know the power of guest blogging and how it can help you generate leads for your real estate business.
Benefits of Guest Blogging for your Real Estate Business
1. Gain more exposure
Guest blogging will help you gain more exposure and credibility. It doesn’t matter what you do, where you are or the position you occupy, guest blogging can make you become a star overnight!
Let’s take my case for instance: I’m a 19 year old blogger from Africa and within 4-5 months of starting this blog, I’ve been able to rank it on the search engines for highly competitive keywords.
Hint: It does not matter what you do; it doesn’t matter if you’re looking for ways to brand your business or increase your sales, guest blogging can help you gain exposure.
2. Generate Leads
Every real estate business owner wants leads, traffic, and a responsive audience. PPC or old forms of link building like article marketing cannot help you achieve that.
You need a more viral tool—which is guest blogging. I’m not trying to boast here but the fact is, I’ve been able drive over 200 buyers to the blog of a client who sells software products (and you know what? 78 out of the 200 who visited his blog bought his software’s).
Hint: It’s true that guest blogging can help you generate buying leads, but if it’s not done the right way, it will harm your business.
I’ve seen many real estate bloggers make the mistake of guest posting on content farms just to rank their sites. Some of them think they’re doing it to grow their search engine rankings without knowing that they’re doing their business more harm.
People can only buy properties from you if they trust you.
Your reputation has to do with the number of leads you generate and the lives you’ve touched, but if people don’t believe who you are, then you can’t get them to be your customers; but if they see you as someone that can be trusted, it will be easier for them to become your clients.
I’ve been able to grow a stable content marketing business within the space of 4 months through guest blogging. My clients trust me because they’ve seen my writing on different blogs which gives them the assurance that I can help them generate leads with my content marketing skills.
4. Improve your rankings
From the beginning of my blogging career, I never thought I could get up to 2- 3,000 visitors to this blog within the space of 4-5 months but guest blogging made it a reality.
If you’re a real estate firm or broker, and you’re looking to increase your rankings so that potential home buyers can locate you, ensure you hire a real estate guest blogger to guest post for your company on a daily basis which will in turn increase your search engine rankings and leads.
I’ve worked with different real estate business owners and one thing I’ve found common in some of them is that, they’re not willing to go the extra-mile for their businesses.
Most of them are afraid of spending. Instead of saving money in the bank for future use ( It’s good at times), why don’t you invest in your business and generate leads in return?
Hint: do everything you can this new year to get your real estate listings or blog to the front page of Google. Even if it means you must hire an SEO content writer; do it!
Do what you feel will be useful to the growth of your business.
5. Get inspired by what others are doing.
I doubt if I would have been able to achieve this much if not for an article I read on Youngprepro. I’ve been a freelance writer all my life but Bamidele Oni inspired me to go the extra-mile in my career.
The result: A large pool of client requests and influx of traffic
6. Sell your book or coaching program
Last year, I friend of mine helped his client sell over 300 copies of a motivational book through guest blogging.
If you’re a newly published author, real estate owner, SEO company or stock broker looking to get your brand out there; guest blogging can help you achieve that.
All you need is to target the well-established blogs in your niche and contribute high quality guest posts to them.
7. Build your connection with other Real Estate bloggers
You don’t know everything; in fact, none of us is perfect; we’re all walking unto perfection. To attain that level of professionalism you’ve always wanted to be, you need the help of other bloggers.
Connect with other professional bloggers. Make them know you. Make them know that you’ll always be there whenever they need you.
8. Become a formidable figure in other ‘’neighboring’’ niches
9. Win new business partners
10. Influence the life of others
Won’t you love it if you wake up one day and find that over 400 leads have subscribed to your email list? Guest Blogging can help you achieve things you never imagined.
It can make you become a real estate superstar—all you need is to start guest posting today!
