Identify a Problem and Meet It
Who is your target audience? What challenges or problems do they have?
Identify their problems and focus on solutions throughout your content.
If you want to engage readers, keep old prospects, and win, more prospective clients then you must learn to write for readers.
Your content is not about you–it’s about them–SO WRITE FOR THEM!
Dazzle the Reader with your Opening Paragraph
I was able to drive 4,000 people to view my content within 37 hours because of one thing: MY OPENING PARAGRAPH!
If you’ve been wondering why it seems like your audience don’t stay well enough on your blog or clients don’t purchase your product or service, then it means there’s something wrong with your opening paragraph.
Pro tip: Don’t ever type a word until you find a strong word or sentence to start your content.
Take away tip: Remember; you only have 5 seconds to grab the attention of the reader, make your opening paragraph count.
Give Real World Examples
Have you ever been scammed by a client as a website content writer?
What challenges did you faced when starting your website content service?
How did you got your first high paying client as a professional content writer?
These are all life experiences and real word examples you can write on. In fact, they’re worth writing on.
Pro tip: I was able to convert 20 prospects into paying customers by applying this method.
Be Personal–add Jokes HERE AND THERE…
He he! Don’t get too serious; you’re not writing a Science textbook or test manual, you’re writing for the web. You’re writing for people, so write in an informative and interesting way.
Educate the reader; make him laugh and cry; make him go, ” Gosh! This content is pure quality; it’s worth paying for”!
Pro tip: If you want to convert new readers into regular visitors, apply this tip.
Make your CALL TO ACTION Count!
Make your closing paragraph count. After all, you’ve informed and made the reader go, ”wow”. But don’t get too ‘’SALESY’’.
Pro tip: If you want the reader to check out your content writer service, do it politely!
Smart Tips to write your Content in 30 minutes
Research
One of the first things you must ensure you do before typing a word is to make research.
Making research will make you familiar with the subject and make you sound like an expert, which will boost your credibility.
I’m not talking about a 5 minutes research here, I’m talking about a detailed and in-depth research that sometimes, takes me about 40 -minutes to an hour!
Write For Ten to Fifteen Minutes
Yes. Write for ten minutes, take a 2 minutes break and then come back to it.
You don’t have to do that; I’m just telling you how I write web contents.
Write and pour your heart out! Don’t stop to edit; just let everything flow and write till your fingers are tired.
Pro tip: Repeat
Disconnect yourself from the ‘’World’’
Never make the mistake of browsing while writing. One simple way to write web contents faster is by turning off your monitor.
By doing this, you’d be able to write more effectively
Edit or you’d Look like a VILLAGE MONKEY! (Sorry)
Edit for incomplete sentences, clarity of speech and spelling errors.
1. Read out aloud after writing your content.
2. Give yourself 30 minutes break and come back to edit.
3. Don’t write and edit the same day, it’s risky.
Practice and Write Everyday
Practice makes perfect. No one was made perfect–we’re all growing unto perfection.
To become a great web content writer, you must learn to practice at all times. You must learn to write in good and bad times. You must also learn to take a pen and paper with you everywhere you go to jot down writing ideas.
Writing is spiritual, and until you understand that writing is spiritual, you can never become a great web content writer.
Pro tip: Remember, practice makes perfect…
